Ethical Committee (EC) |
The Ethical Committee (EC) of BPRC was formed with the following objectives: |
Aim: To review Bio-medical research projects to contribute to safeguard the dignity, rights, safety and well being of the patients. |
Basic Principles: |

A cardinal principle of research involving human participants is “respect for the dignity of persons” |
• |
The goals of research should never be permitted to override the health, well-being and care of the patients. |

Principle of Justice requires that the benefits and burden of research be distributed fairly among all groups and classes of society, taking into account age, gender, economic status, culture and ethnic considerations. |
