BPRC receives self-reporting and referred patients with Leprosy, Tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS etc who are provided diagnostic and specialized treatment services. BPRC also offers physiotherapy and Grade 1 & 2 Micro Cellular Rubber (MCR) footwear to its clients. With effect from 01 Apr 2001, BPRC and DLRC were included in the Directly Observed Treatment Short (DOTS) course programme for TB. DOTS therapy has been implemented in a population of 1 lakh from Ranga Reddy District. To date, 526 patients have been inducted for DOTS. State Government Officers have commented favorably on the BPRC DOTS Programme.


Clinical division is undertaking the treatment of Multi Drug Resistance in Tuberculosis as well as Thalidomide therapy for chronic ENL reactions in leprosy.
