Introduction

Regional Office - Andhra Pradesh & Other States

Regional Office of Andhra Pradesh and Other States (ROAP)
ROAP was established in 2004 to support the operational functions by ensuring the start-up and monitoring of projects and programmes in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and also to strengthen project management and promote a participatory approach. In the last four years, ROAP carried out programmatic tasks in Leprosy, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Filariasis covering the urban, rural and the tribal population.

ROAP plays a key role in maintaining good working relations with the state level government and donor agencies in coordinating health programmes in the project area.  Developing new initiatives to address critical issues and conducting evaluations in the projects are integral components of programme planning of ROAP.
