| About Us |
LEPRA Society is a leading Indian non-governmental organisation working in the fields of leprosy, tuberculosis, malaria, HIV/AIDS and disabilities. We currently work in four Indian states, covering a population of nearly 12 million people. |
Whereas the work of LEPRA Society takes place in both urban and rural contexts, all our activities focus on vulnerable communities (or parts of communities) such as groups that are marginalised or poor, women, young people, slum populations and migrants. |
LEPRA Society has 17 years’ experience of working with communicable diseases and community health. We are committed to fighting disease, disability and discrimination and aim to heal persons affected by leprosy, tuberculosis, malaria, HIV/AIDS and disabilities through appropriate treatment, care and support. |
LEPRA Society is an independent not-for-profit NGO, with no religious, ideological or political affiliation. |
